Chimdi Chekwa | Drawing Strong Interest

The combine and pro days are over. Working out has become a regular routine. Now it’s simply time to wait. With only being a week away from the NFL draft and Chimdi Chekwa’s life changing in a big way, he’s just ready “to head home to Florida and watch the draft with my family.” After suffering a wrist injury at the Sugar Bowl in January, Chekwa has been on a non-stop campaign of rehab, workouts, and interviews to prove to those at the next level he’s a viable pick in the draft.

When asked about his schedule the past three months Chekwa noted, “It wasn’t as intense as I anticipated it to be because we have had such intense workouts throughout my entire time at Ohio State that it feels like the transition will not be quite as much as I expected. I even have
