The San Francisco 49ers, owners of the seventh overall pick in this month’s NFL draft, met with North Carolina defensive end Robert Quinn earlier this week, according to The Sacramento Bee.

WR Vidal Hazelton joins “Reverend” Ralph Mancini, as he discusses the long, winding journey he has taken to become one of the true sleepers of this upcoming draft class. Most recently, the Staten Island, NY native has worked out for the Cincinnati Bengals, the New York Jets and the New York Giants.

The combine and pro days are over. Working out has become a regular routine. Now it’s simply time to wait. With only being a week away from the NFL draft and Chimdi Chekwa’s life changing in a big way, he’s just ready “to head home to Florida and watch the draft with my family.” After suffering a wrist injury at the Sugar Bowl in January, Chekwa has been on a non-stop campaign of rehab, workouts, and interviews to prove to those at the next level he’s a viable pick in the draft.

When asked about his schedule the past three months Chekwa noted, “It wasn’t as intense as I anticipated it to be because we have had such intense workouts throughout my entire time at Ohio State that it feels like the transition will not be quite as much as I expected. I even have

University of Nevada quarterbackColin Kaepernick has been invited to New York for the NFL draft, a league source said Friday night.
