The NFL Draft Bible caught up with former Northwestern defensive end Corey Wootton at Bears camp in Bourbonnais.
RM: “How does it feel to end up in the same area you played your college ball in?”
CW: “You know, it’s been great to be around here in the Chicago land area. It feels great to be around these great fans with such an historic franchise, so I’m really excited for the opportunity.”
RM: How has it been like lining up alongside a superstar of the caliber of Julius Peppers? What have you been able to pick up from him?
CW: “The first thing about him is his pad level. As tall as he is, he stays really low, keeps his hands active and he really never stops.”
RM: “What are some of the things you’re looking to improve?”
CW: “Just the pass rush; I’m trying to get better at that.”
