Tennessee’s LeGarrette Blount and Arizona’s Max Hall both put forth outstanding efforts in the Titan’s 24-10 preseason victory on Monday Night Football. Blount was a high-flying battering ram who bullied his way to 42 rushing yards on 9 carries. The running back put his athletic wares on display by showcasing a violent running style that saw him change directions and hurdle his opponents. The 240-pound rookie was especially impressive on a fourth-quarter run in which he was patient to the hole and waited for his blockers to clear a path on a designed sweep. Going forward, the athletic marvel should work on running a little lower and the keeping aerial maneuvers to a minimum if he hopes to have a long career in the pros. Blount may end up serving as a late-game closer in games where Tennessee jumps out to a big lead. Similarly, Hall looked sharp
