Tom Holmoe is the athletic director at BYU, his alma mater. As a player, Holmoe was part of four straight WAC titles before embarking on a seven-year career in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, where he won three Super Bowls under Bill Walsh. Holmoe coached under Bill Walsh at Stanford before taking over the head coaching duties at California. He returned to BYU in 2001 and became the athletic director in 2005, where he oversees 21 sports and over 600 student athletes.
