#7 GARRETT GILBERT – QB – TEXAS: The developing Gilbert has prototype size for the position with the ability to survey the field and deliver the football on time. His accuracy is above average and he puts enough zip on the football to complete the difficult sideline out throws. The Austin native has a tendency to stare down his receivers which has led to a lot of batted passes and interceptions, as he tied a school record with five interceptions against Kansas State last season. He has the mobility and deceptive speed to make plays outside of the pocket and was required to run more often than not last season. If Gilbert can improve his decision making and do a better job of making reads during his junior year,
