What are your official height, weight and recent 40 time?

6’2”, 192 pounds. 4.50.

What do you consider to be your biggest strength?

In terms of how I approach the game, I consider my attention to detail in understanding the offense I’m in and the defense/defender I’m playing against my biggest strength. In terms of my on-the-field play, I would consider my aggressiveness on every play to be my biggest physical attribute.

What part of your game have you worked on improving?

Over the past few months, I spent a considerable amount of time improving my route running and releases versus different looks.

Where have you been training? How often do you workout to stay in shape?

Will Jerry Jones Face Goodell’s Music?

“It is important that the NFL be represented consistently by outstanding people as well as great football players, coaches, and staff. We hold ourselves to higher standards of responsible conduct because of what it means to be part of the National Football League. We have long had policies and programs designed to encourage responsible behavior, and this policy is a further step in ensuring that everyone who is part of the NFL meets that standard.”

That’s a quote from Roger Goodell regarding the Conduct Policy of the NFL. He has backed up that quote with suspensions to players who have not lived up to its standards. Pacman Jones, Michael Vick, Santonio Holmes and others have lost game time (and game checks) as a result. But what about owners—are they not to be held to a similar standard?

This week, a video is making its way across

Mayberry: A Linebacker to Fit Any Scheme

Just because you don’t get invited to the NFL Scouting Combine doesn’t mean you have no shot at getting drafted. Indiana’s Matt Mayberry received no invite, but is hoping to hear his name called on draft weekend. <br

This past season Mayberry led the team with 108 total tackles, was second on the team with 11 tackles for loss, had 5.5 sacks, and grabbed three interceptions. He is a solid all-around linebacker who has good instincts and pursuit skills. He is also versatile; he can play inside in a 3-4 or outside in a 4-3 as a weak side linebacker.

“Before the pro day I was mainly hearing from 4-3 teams. But after the pro day, now that teams have seen my speed, I have heard from a number of 3-4 teams,” said Mayberry.

He’s hearing from more teams because of that

Marshall Comes to Miami

The Miami Dolphins have acquired wide receiver Brandon Marshall. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports the Denver Broncos will receive a second-round pick in 2010 and 2011 in exchange for the disgruntled wide out. Pending a physical, Marshall is expected to sign one of the most lucrative receiver contracts in the history of the NFL.

Mandel’s Take: The Dolphins get a receiver they need and Denver gets almost-fair value for a player who everyone in the league knew they wanted to get rid of. That’s a testament to how talented Marshall is; even though it was common knowledge that he wasn’t welcome in Denver, the Broncs were still able to get meaningful picks for him. That’s a pretty good job by Denver. Three consecutive 100-reception seasons and double-digit touchdown potential are what he brings, but he’ll arrive in South Beach with baggage that doesn’t quite fit in the overhead compartment. Although Marshall

Agent Denies Gronkowski Medical Rumors

Rob Gronkowski is one of this year’s draft enigmas, showed impressively March 27 at Arizona’s Pro Day, but that followed two days of multiple reports that Gronkowski suffers from stenosis. (His agent denies the reports.)

Stenosis, a narrowing of the spine that can cause numbness and leave a person prone to paralysis, is the same condition that caused Chargers left tackle Marcus McNeill to fall to the second round in 2006. McNeill went to the Pro Bowl in his first two seasons and has started 62 games. And while he was slowed in 2008 by a neck injury and had surgery last offseason, he has said it was unrelated to his stenosis.
