2011 NFL Draft–

  • CB – Many were surprised by the sensational play of Chris Carr and Josh Wilson last season. Unfortunately, both players are unrestricted free agents and the chances of Baltimore re-signing both of them appear slim. This position is in danger of becoming of a huge question mark once again entering the season. Carr and Wilson answered the bell a year ago but if one or both are not here, there doesn’t seem to be competent replacements residing on the current roster. The emerging Lardarius Webb is solid in the slot but can’t be depended upon to start and Fabian Washington has just four interceptions over the past four seasons. Depth and possibly new starters are on the agenda for general manager Ozzie Newsome.

(1-6) Russell Okung, OT, Oklahoma State: If nothing else, Okung proved to be an extremely tough competitor who can play through pain. That was the case in his rookie year, as the Big 12 product dealt with tender ankles all season but stood up to some of the fiercest right ends and improved as the season went on. The highlight of his rookie campaign occurred when he overpowered and nullified Julius Peppers in Week 6. Grade: B
