Draft Diary #3 – 3/1/11 I’m happy to officially have the NFL Combine behind me, and I think my time in Indianapolis went really well. This is yet another step towards my goal of securing a spot on an NFL team. I’m really trying to take everything one day at a time. Rather than getting too far ahead of myself and focusing on the future, I want to focus on the present in order to make sure teams see me as the best possible player I can be. The week was tiring, but Draft Diary #3: Mike Mohamed: 3/1/11Former California inside linebacker Mike Mohamed makes his third draft diary entry as he takes us inside the NFL Scouting Combine from a player’s perspective. Draft Diary #3 – 3/1/11 I’m back in my hometown of Brawley, California relaxing with family for a few days after the long week at the Combine. The first night we got to Indianapolis I looked outside and there was about four inches of snow on the ground. I was already excited to get out of that weather and back to Southern California. Luckily, we spent almost all of our time indoors and the combine sponsor, Under Amour, gave us clothes to keep warm. Overall, I think the week went pretty well. Scott turned heads after he posted the fastest offensive time in the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.35.
