I’m back in my hometown of Brawley, California relaxing with family for a few days after the long week at the Combine. The first night we got to Indianapolis I looked outside and there was about four inches of snow on the ground. I was already excited to get out of that weather and back to Southern California. Podcast: Da’Rel Scott, Maryland

Maryland running back Da’Rel Scott played in the East-West Shrine Game, scoring a touchdown on his only carry of the game but it was the phone call he received from his agent later that night telling him he would also be playing in the Senior Bowl that would make NFL teams pay attention. Scott turned heads after he posted the fastest offensive time in the 40-yard dash with a time of 4.35.
