Injury Concerns Follow DeAndre Brown To NFL

Southern Mississippi junior wide receiver DeAndre Brown has declared for the 2011 draft. The 6-5, 240-pound Brown was has been hampered by injuries, including a broken leg in 2008 and a lower leg strain this past season which caused him to miss seven games. In five games played, Brown totaled 19 catches, 284 receiving yards and three touchdowns. Currently, Brown is considered to be a mid-round prospect but his draft stock could tilt in either direction, depending on how he checks out medically.
