NFL: Rosstradamus Goes Around The League

We’ve passed Thanksgiving and that means it’s time to get serious in the NFL. Terms like, “If the playoffs started today…” begin to take on actual meaning. Division races start to heat up. Contenders realize they have a shot at winning the big prize, also-rans understand that they’re auditioning for future employment, and certain coaches post real estate ads and work on their resumes. In the AFC, we pretty much know who’s going to make the playoffs. Listen, I know anything can happen, but barring something ridiculous the wild cards will come from the East and North. The only spot up for grabs is in the West, where the Chargers and Chiefs will fight for the division crown. The final five games will impact seeding, which is fun for the fans but won’t mean that much to the actual games since a certain dome team isn’t going to

He’s been consistently climbing the board at his position and while some of that has to do with players around him falling, such as seniors Luke Stocker and Weslye Saunders, it’s Williams’ receiving skills that has scouts captivated. Williams is the NCAA’s active career leader in receptions and receiving

The 1970 Heisman Trophy winner continued. “He throws extremely well off-balanced, which is very important in the NFL because of the pass rush.”

This season, LeShoure has piled up 1,371 yards and 16 total touchdowns, including seven 100-yard rushing games. His descent up nfl draft boards is similar to Ryan Mathews of Fresno State from a year ago.

Suddenly, LeShoure is near the top of everyone’s list as one of the premier running back prospects in the nation, making his decision to return to Illinois or declare for the upcoming 2011 NFL Draft a hot topic of conversation on campus.

“The coaches told me it’s a definitely a decision to make, but right now the only thing to think about is finishing the
