  • OG – Many of the problems along the offensive line resided on the interior and the result was major leakage. Quarterback Chad Henne had little protection in the passing game, the running game was atrocious and the offense as a whole was downright putrid. An overweight Vernon Carey struggled with injuries, forcing Richie Incognito into action at guard. Rookie John Jerry was thrust into the fire and started 10 games but is still a work in progress. Miami could choose to re-sign Pat McQuistan but he is more of a backup in an ideal world. Creating some depth on the offensive line, specifically at the guard position, will be the first step in rebuilding the offense for new coordinator Brian Daboll. It will also allow

Jacksonville Jaguars: Team Needs Rookie Review On The Clock Insider Podcast

2010 NFL Draft Class–

(1-10) Tyson Alualu, DT, California: While many questioned taking the Honolulu native with a top-10 pick, Jacksonville GM Gene Smith got the last laugh as his prized selection came through with flying colors. Alualu’s persistence in fighting through blocks was a key component in helping the rookie collapse the pocket…even against double teams. The controversial first-round pick was also very adept at reading his pre-snap keys. In addition, the lineman’s versatility in playing the three, five or even zero technique was a big plus. His ability to disengage from blockers still needs to improve. Grade: A-
