Missouri State senior running back Chris Douglas (Lawrenceville, Ga.) has been named to the College Football Performance Awards Preseason Watch List for Division I FCS running backs. The list of 32 of the nation’s top backs was compiled to highlight players whose performances merit preseason recognition and may ultimately be considered for the CFPA Performer of the Year honors at the end of the season.
In 2010, Douglas became the 10th running back in MSU history to reach the 1,000-yard milestone in a single season. He finished with 1,051 yards on just 152 carries en route to earning All-Missouri Valley Football Conference honorable mention honors.
