Underclassmen Rahim Moore and Akeem Ayers both took advantage of their pro days at UCLA. Moore chose not to run the 40-yard dash Tuesday and stood on his respectable combine times of 4.53 and 4.62 seconds. It’s a little concerning that he didn’t attempt to improve the numbers, but the rest of his workout was very good, especially the drills.
While many view Rahim Moore as the top safety heading into April’s draft, he is projected as a second-round selection and there are teams that consider Texas cornerback Aaron Williams a better safety prospect. What makes this even more intriguing is the fact that Moore claims other NFL scouts have talked about him playing cornerback in their system, which isn’t out of the question.
