Jerrell Powe is going to enter April’s NFL draft, the 6-2, 320-pound Ole Miss nose tackle told ESPN via phone Saturday morning, according to Bruce Feldman of ESPN.
“It’s time for me to go,” said Powe, who will bypass a chance for an extra season of eligibility for the Rebels (4-8). Powe will turn 24 in March and explained that “the NFL doesn’t draft 25-year-olds in the first round.”
The NFL Draft Bible currently slots Powe in the 2nd-3rd round range. For more on Jerrell Powe click here.
