Here’s a look at the top sophomore offensive line prospects entering the 2010 season.
1. Barrett Jones, Alabama (Offensive Guard) – Rarely does an offensive guard top a list of offensive linemen, and it’s safe to speculate that by the time the 2013 NFL Draft rolls around an offensive tackle will be the top NFL prospect coming out of the trenches. But for now, we’re going with Mr. Jones. At 6’4” and 301 pounds the Alabama product has excellent length and a solid frame, but the NFL looks for their guards to tip the scales at 320-plus pounds so he will have hit the weight room to bulk up before he is ready to play for pay.
