Football is back…sort of. Week one is in the books, but with a few noteworthy exceptions, the quality of play was ragged and frustrating to watch. Much of that can be attributed to the players getting into actual game shape and offenses still rounding into form, but excuses tend to fall on deaf ears when your season consists of just 16 of these games.
