Tony Dorsett Sizes Up the Cowboys
Dallas Cowboy legend Tony Dorsett was one of the many ex-players on hand at the Saturday, Jan. 15 Walter Camp Black Tie Dinner in New Haven, CT., as he offered a quick review of his old team in the wake of a disappointing 6-10 campaign.
“I think the offensive line is getting a little older. You can use good offensive and defensive linemen. The secondary can also use some help, but other than that I really don’t see much more than they need,” stated the former running back whose outstanding 12-year pro career earned him a spot in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.
Dorsett endorsed the direction America’s Team is going in with head coach Jason Garrett and forecasted sunny days ahead for Dallas’ offense with the return of their field general Tony Romo next season. In fact, he had no qualms putting Dallas right
