2012 Combine Impressions: Quarterbacks

No player has created a bigger buzz than the one that followed Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III. It began with flashing his world-class track speed and blazing the forty-yard dash in 4.41 seconds. It followed with interviews from six of the top ten teams selecting in the 2012 NFL Draft. 2012 Combine Impressions: Running Backs

The Hurricanes provided the breeze inside Lucas Oil Stadium, with eight players from Miami (Fl) represented at the NFL Scouting Combine. Lamar Miller of “The U.” may have won over some believers with his impressive 4.40-speed in the forty. The measureables turned in by David Wilson of Virginia Tech were also highly impressive (4.49 forty and 41” vertical jump). Similar talents, these times could separate the two. They will each have one more opportunity to stake claim during their pro days. Note: Click here to view Pro Day dates.

Two backs that “look” the part are Doug Martin of Boise State and Robert Turbin of Utah State, both of whom bring some serious chisel and sizzle! The sculptured backs have a history of carrying the workload during their college
