Tampa Bay fourth-rounder Mike Williams is ahead of second-round Arrelious Benn after spring practices, according to the St. Petersburg Times. The Bucs are lacking depth at wide out and it isn’t that far-fetched to belive that both rookies could eventually wind up starting.
Titans See Potential In LeGarrette Blount
Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher said he has been impressed with how RB LeGarrette Blount has performed during offseason even though he was not able to participate in the team’s May workouts because of school commitments, according to The Tennessean’s Jim Wyatt. ‘He is picking things up, he is catching the ball well,’ Fisher said. ‘He is a big, strong instinctive runner. Cowboys To Use Owusu-Ansah At Free Safety
Dallas Cowboys FS Akwasi Owusu-Ansah (shoulder) likely will not compete with Alan Ball for the starting free safety during training camp because he miss all of the team’s offseason workouts while recovering from shoulder surgery.
Considering his measureables, its a bit surprising to hear that the plan is to use Owusu-Ansah at free safety but that speaks to the depth of the Dallas Cowboys, who plan to figure into the Super Bowl equation. The small school talent could have a similar career to that as Malcolm Jenkins with his versatility, eventually there will be a need for another quality corner and down the line, Owusu-Ansah could get the call.

Even though he didn’t make a single start or record a sack the true-freshman was impressive, providing depth for Mack Brown and company by backing up Kindle and Acho. Okafor was explosive enough to get into the backfield to
