2010 NFL Draft Round One Impact & Analysis
1. St. Louis Rams – Sam Bradford Quarterback Oklahoma
Analysis: The Rams have spent the last couple of drafts passing on a quarterback. Now, in 2010, with the number one pick, they finally got their guy. With unquestioned accuracy and excellent football intelligence, he was the logical choice for the first pick. Many had Jimmy Clausen rated ahead of Bradford, but after Clausen’s free fall, it is clear that NFL teams did not have him on the same level. Even with the Browns reportedly offering most of their picks in 2010 and some 2011 picks, the Rams stayed pat and selected Bradford.

attendance. He could increase the team’s pathetic pass rush, though, and that’s all the
Jaguars say they really want.
