Report: Bradford Will Cost $50M Guaranteed
The St. Louis Rams and Oklahoma QB Sam Bradford, who is expected to be the No. 1 pick in the NFL Draft, will not have a contract in place before the draft, reports ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Bradford has been hesitant to complete a deal and wants to see how the NFL Draft plays out, as another team could look to trade up to get him. The Rams don’t think they need to have one in place before the event kicks off next week and believe the player will eventually sign. Bradford’s contract is expected to average about $13 million per year with roughly $50 million in guaranteed money.
After Workout Bradford Seems ‘Perfect’ Fit
The Rams sent offensive coordinator Pat Shurmur and quarterbacks coach Dick Curl to workout Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford on Friday, which lasted about an hour. It began with Bradford working on pass drops as if under center, under the tutelage of Shurmur and Curl.
Unlike the pro day session, which was scripted by Bradford and his handlers, the Rams dictated what was done. After more than one play, Shurmur replied with an exclamation of “perfect!” and then pounded knuckles with Bradford.
“That’s got to be good when the coach says ‘perfect,’ ” said Bradford’s agent, Tom Condon, who was watching from the sideline of the Sooners’ indoor training facility.

Is Bradford the 1? Rams put QB through unscripted workout

NFL: Dolphins Ship Ginn to Niners
The 49ers have acquired WR/KR Ted Ginn Jr. from the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a fifth-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Mandel’s Take: With the arrival of Brandon Marshall, the writing was on the wall for the massively disappointing Ginn. Perhaps a change of scenery will help him hold onto the ball and produce…something. I suppose he’ll help the Niners in the return game, but for a number nine overall pick, that’s not good enough. When you consider that the Dolphins still need a down field threat, yet decided to jettison Ginn, it tells you all you need to know about the former Buckeye. He’s got speed, but it takes more than that to succeed in the NFL. He should be frustrating Coach Singletary in no time.

Player Spotlight: Eric Decker, Minnesota
Former Minnesota
wide out Eric Decker is an All-Big Ten performer and owns the single season record for receptions for the Golden Gophers. While Decker his slide beneath the radar, make no mistake he is a player and one of the more underrated receivers in this class. He has good size, great hands and is a crisp route runner.
A Minnesota boy through and through, Decker talks about being a “country boy”, as well as being a fan of the Vikings and Twins. The Minnesota
