Serritella: Carroll Shows Who’s The Boss

NFL: Seahawks Sign (Big) Mike Williams

The Seahawks have signed Mike Williams and fullback Ryan Powdrell, two of the 17 players who were on tryouts this week. The signings were reported on the league’s official Web site.

Williams was the No. 10 overall pick in the 2005, chosen by Detroit. He has struggled at times with his weight, but came in to the tryout in great shape. He is 6 feet 5, 235 pounds and fits the mold of the big, physical receiver.

No word on whether Reggie Williams would be signed as his agent didn’t return a message right away so we’ll have to see on that.
